This Privacy Policy explains how Ji'an Jizhou District Hilo Internet Studio (Individually Owned Business) (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the Taroveil iOS application (“the App”). By using Taroveil, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Taroveil is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect only the information needed to provide the App, maintain account features, support subscriptions, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Dream and tarot content: dream entries, tarot questions, cards drawn, interpretations, follow-up prompts, journal notes, and related reading history.
• Account information: if you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple subject identifier, email address or Apple relay email, and display name if you choose to share it. Guest accounts use an app-generated identifier.
• Support and feedback: when you contact us or submit in-app feedback, we collect the text you submit and any optional screenshot you attach.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Device and app details: device model, iOS version, app version, and technical identifiers needed for authentication, syncing, and troubleshooting.
• Subscription data: subscription tier, entitlement status, and transaction-related information needed to verify purchases through Apple.
• Push notification data: notification token and notification preference settings if you enable notifications.
• Usage analytics: app interaction events, session identifiers, account mode, language, feature selections, usage buckets, and similar product analytics used to understand feature usage and improve the App.
• Diagnostics and crash data: crash reports, error context, device and app metadata, and operational logs used to secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

2. How we use your information

• Provide, operate, and maintain Taroveil and its features
• Generate AI-powered dream interpretations and tarot readings
• Store your reading history, journal content, and account preferences
• Authenticate your account and verify subscription status
• Deliver optional push notifications you choose to receive
• Review feedback, attached screenshots, and support requests
• Measure feature usage, understand product performance, and prioritize product improvements
• Detect abuse, fix bugs, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations

We do not use your dream content, tarot content, or journal entries for advertising purposes. We also do not send the full text of dream entries, tarot questions, interpretations, journal notes, or feedback screenshots to Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.

3. AI processing

When you request an interpretation, the relevant text you submit is sent to our AI service providers for processing. Depending on language, routing, and service availability, this may include Google Gemini and other OpenAI-compatible providers configured by us, such as Doubao-compatible services. We use these providers only to generate the response you requested and related service operations.

4. Third-party services

• Apple Sign In: account authentication.
• Apple In-App Purchases / StoreKit: subscription billing and entitlement verification.
• Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google): app analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, and service improvement. This may include app instance or account identifiers, subscription tier, account mode, language, app version, coarse usage buckets, event metadata, and crash-related technical diagnostics.
• OneSignal: push notification delivery if you enable notifications.
• Cloudflare R2: hosting tarot assets and optional feedback screenshot uploads.
• AI providers: interpretation generation for dreams, tarot readings, and follow-up messages.

5. Data storage and security

Application data is stored in our backend database infrastructure and object storage services. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and authentication safeguards. Account tokens on iOS are stored using platform-provided secure storage.

6. Data retention

We retain your data while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated account data unless we must retain specific records for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons. Requested deletions are generally completed within 30 days.

7. Your choices and rights

• Access and correction: contact us to request access to or correction of your personal data.
• Deletion: delete your account in the app through Settings → Account → Delete Account, or contact us by email.
• Notifications: disable notifications in iOS Settings → Taroveil → Notifications.
• Photos permission: Taroveil does not request microphone access. Photo-library add-only access is requested only if you choose to save a reading card to your photo library. Selecting a screenshot from your library for feedback uses the iOS photo picker flow.

8. Children's privacy

Taroveil is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be communicated through the App or website. Your continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
